Britney Spears Breaks Silence After DUI Arrest: ‘Thank You Guys for All Your Support … Stay Kind’
Britney Spears is breaking her silence and speaking out for the first since she was arrested earlier this month for suspected “driving under the influence of a combination of drugs and alcohol” in California, per authorities. The pop superstar returned to social media on March 27 with a video on Instagram which featured her dancing, as has become her signature move in recent years.
In the clip, her 19-year-old son Jayden Federline is dancing alongside her as she records them both in a mirror. “Thank you guys for all your support… spending time with family and friends is such a blessing,” she wrote “Stay kind !!!” On March 4, Spears was taken into custody when she was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at approximately 9:30 p.m.
