Metallica Not Adding Any More Dates to 24-Show Life Burns Faster 2026-2027 Sphere Run… ‘At This Point in Time’

Last week, after announcing what they said were the final four shows in the run, Metallica said “ this is it — we’re maxing out Life Burns Faster .” The additional shows will push the veteran metal band even further into 2027, with new the latest dates slated for March 4 & 6 and March 11 & 13. In Tuesday’s note, they reiterated that is all there is, though they left the door open, kind of.

“At this point in time, we will not be adding additional shows, but we are hoping to offer more in the future,” the band wrote, while acknowledging that there were some hiccups in the roll-out of the tickets for the shows. “In the meantime, we hear you loud and clear that the ticket-buying process was often frustrating and not always smooth.
