Snoop Dogg Is a West Coast Gangster in His ‘Stop Counting My Poccets’ Video
Snoop Dogg dropped a new single, “Stop Counting My Poccets.” The track, produced by Nottz, comes off the rapper’s forthcoming LP, 10 Til’ Midnight , out April 10. The single arrived alongside a music directed by Luis De Pena and Yaslynn Rivera, which pays homage to classic West Coast gangster films. The clip is one part of a short film that acts as a visual for Snoop’s overall album.
Shot primarily in black and white, the short film features an appearance from West Coast rappers Ray Vaughn , G Perico, Hitta J3, and BLK ODYSSY. It follows brothers Ru Little and Do Wrong, both played by Snoop, who represent different paths and backgrounds as they navigate a high-stakes heist that goes wrong. The “Stop Counting My Poccets” video focuses one of the two characters.
