Chappell Roan’s ‘Call Her Daddy’ Episode, KATSEYE, Young Miko & More Win at 2026 GLAAD Media Awards: Full Winners List

Chappell Roan ’s March 2025 visit to Alex Cooper’s popular Call Her Daddy podcast, for an episode titled “Chappell Roan: Are People Scared of Me?,” tied for outstanding podcast episode at the 2026 GLAAD Media Awards with an episode of the I’ve Had It podcast titled “Straight Panic, Gay Excellence.” The awards, hosted by Jonathan Bennett, were held in Los Angeles on Thursday (March 5).

Both music awards went to young women artists. Young Miko won outstanding music artist, beating such household names as Lady Gaga and Elton John & Brandi Carlile, while KATSEYE won outstanding breakthrough music artist. Young Miko had a Grammy nod at the 2025 ceremony for best música urbana album for her debut album, att. Her sophomore album, Do Not Disturb, is expected to be nominated later this year.

KATSEYE had two nods at the Grammy ceremony on Feb. 1 – best new artist and best pop duo/group performance for “Gabriela,” which became the sextet’s first top 30 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 . KATSEYE is often dubbed a “global girl group.” Jonathan Bennett hosted this year’s GLAAD Media Awards. Liza Minnelli received GLAAD’s Inaugural Liza Minnelli Storyteller Award in honor of her upcoming memoir Kids, Wait Till You Hear This!

Michael Feinstein presented the award. Minnelli entered the stage surrounded by ensembles of dancers following a video tribute narrated by RuPaul . “I’m so glad to be here with you, all of you,” Minnelli said in accepting the award. “You make me so proud, ‘cause you’re strong, and you stand up for what you believe in.”
