Zara Larsson Denies Being Asked To Replace Camila Cabello in Fifth Harmony: ‘I Don’t Do Groups’
Zara Larsson addressed rumors that she was approached to join Fifth Harmony to replace Camila Cabello , saying she was never in line to be part of the popular girl group. The singer, speaking in the Spotify Live Room, denied having ever been offered a spot in the now-defunct group. “Oh, no. I don’t do groups,” she said. “I would never be in a group.” She added that generally she is “a big fan of girl groups.” “I love that,” she noted.
“And I also like that I feel like the girl groups are coming back big time.” She clarified that if she were ever part of one she would need to be “front center.” “I love a girl group,” she said. “I just couldn’t take not singing lead all the time.” Larsson toured with Fifth Harmony in 2014 as an opening act on Cher Lloyd’s I Wish tour.
